The HNH Sanctuary has moved to Herriman, creating an opportunity to grow our mission to serve more animals, children, and families.
Before we can fully expand our programs, we need to build the foundation: safe shelter, secure fencing, usable space, and the resources needed to care for our herd.

First Shelter Payment
Our shelter payments are divided into 4 payments of $7,500. The first one is due 10/14.
Our shelters are ready to be lived in, providing a clean, warm environment for the horses to eat and rest, especially with fall creeping in and snow coming before we know it. Horses like Cowboy with PPID, Norman with Neurological Issues, and Lila being prone to Laminitis, our shelters are not a want, they are a need to the health of our herd.
Fencing Payment Due
The $3,100 deposit for the fencing is needed asap to order. $3,100 is due on delivery 8-10 days later.
Our current fencing does not fit the shelters and is not strong enough for our horses. To prevent unsolicited tours of horses around the property and to make sure kiddos have a strong fence between them and our herd, we need this fencing asap. Plus, our herd deserves to move around a much as possible to maintain their health.

Once an abandoned, feral yearling dying of pneumonia. She went from untouchable and terrified to a skilled liberty horse, inspiring the youth we work with
Cowboy
Dumped at a kill pen in his yearly 30’s, our sweet senior boy is the most patient, gentle teacher for kiddos 2-12 in the Beyond The Gate Program classes.
Coming Soon…Peaches
Sent to the kill pen 100% blind with a foal on her side, Peaches will soon come to HNH as our all around Beyond the Gate Program pony.

Our horses, regardless of their ride-ability, provide inspiration and connection. Their stories of triumph, healing and redemption allow us to partner with them to create cultural change. They are the attraction and catalyst to help the next generation and the community around them to become more equipped to handle their emotions, trials, successes and understand they have value to bring to the table.
By partnering with us on our sanctuary build, you are not only keeping our herd sustained, saving more lives from abuse and slaughter, but you are also empowering the next generation through our classes. In order for us to keep offering this education, we need to have the space to do it, as well as financial support to ensure we don’t have to raise costs.
