CURRENT MAJOR NEEDS AT HNH
WINTER HAY
Feed the Herd. Fuel the Mission.
$280 / $3,500 raised • 15.5 bundles needed still
After chatting with the farm we source from, we worked out a plan! We have pivoted to 5 months of hay on a truck and trailer rather than 7 on a semi truck with delivery and stacked, which means our new fundraising goal is $3,500 instead of $8,000. However, we now have to pick up more hours working outside of the sanctuary to pay off the personal debt coming out of pocket for the cost. We have to pay in full Wednesday the 26th!
While we work to pay this off, we’ve had to pause launching our online resources and kids curriculum, simply because caring for the HNH herd comes first.
The sooner hay is funded, the sooner we can get back to building.

WISHING FOR A HERO
Herd Heroes are needed for our kids program officially rolling out in February. We are finishing up the trial run this November and need to keep working the horses when able during December and January. This means we need the tools for the program’s end, training for official sessions and for the next batch of students.
